- RR is making a career over the NFC issue. He only paused while SJ was performing her Umrah recently. Clearly that the target was not NFC but it was SJ. They continue to attack SJ though there are no clear legal issues binding between SJ and NFC. I felt RR is being very personal over the matter. In my text message to SJ family members yesterday, I told them that SJ should not resign, as the country needs her. That is my honest assessment and personal view. Unfortunately, I believe UMNO top brass has made their decision 4 weeks ago as for her political career.
- Several weeks ago I wrote that RR information on NFC came from UMNO. The truth is coming out slowly. Fact is The AGC is looking into the issue, an international audit firm has been appointed by AGC to audit the NFC. The MACC and the police is addressing the complains and we should give her and her family a break for a few weeks until the authorities comes out with the decision. RR must realize that whatever goes around comes around. I know of a team that has been tasked to compile a complete dossier of this guy. His turn will come. PR should stay focus on issues and not on personalities that has no relationship with the issue.
- It is time that PR focused on something bigger that affects the entire nation. The issue today is 1-CARE (1C). They must give their resources and time as they had given NFC and get the government to declare and be transparent on details that relates to 1C. I don’t understand on why the government is not coming forward and giving out the much desired details. The information that has been rehashed is the same but the people worries are not being addressed.
- I would like to urge RR to spend his time, energy and the same vigor that he has given NFC and address the unclear issues of project 1C. I think the people have the rights to know something that is has serious repercussions on the current and future generations of Malaysian. Can we depend on PR and RR to address such important issue or they still want to focus on Anwar and cows? The cows are a limited issue with small implications. The project 1C has wider implications.

Dear Doc,
Below are your quotes, followed by my comments.
Quote: “RR is making a career over the NFC issue.”
>> I would let RR shine on it, RR is doing a great job. We need him to ‘kill the chickens to scare the monkeys’. Bravo RR!
Quote: “Unfortunately, I believe UMNO top brass has made their decision 4 weeks ago as for her political career.”
>> Regardless of your quote: “In my text message to SJ family members yesterday, I told them that SJ should not resign, as the country needs her.”
>> This is the prefect moment to come back to your philosophy or your criteria of electing a candidate for BA. If the candidate is a liability to UMNO and not to the Rakyat, the candidate would be killed off, UMNO priority comes first. If the candidate does not goes on the take as with the rest of UMNO, the candidate will be killed off again. Whether you will be selected as candidate for the MP or ADUN, first you have to rub balls and dance to the tune of UMNO. SJ had to dance to the tune that has created her own downfall. That is the reason I prefer MCLM candidates anytime.
Quote: “His turn will come.”
>> I hope so, IF there is ANY. We need to kill more chickens to scare more monkeys.
Quote: “PR should stay focus on issues and not on personalities that has no relationship with the issue.”
>> Sorry, I beg to differ, it is an ISSUE! Rakyat money mismanage and looting.
Quote: “It is time that PR focused on something bigger that affects the entire nation. The issue today is 1-CARE (1C).”
>> PR is already focusing on it. There are MPs already assign to it. RR is assign to SJ. Jobs are well assigned. Full force of attack is not possible, as you said, clearly it is murky. er… I mean it is not clear, still blur.. Doc, you know how politics works, when it is black and white only will the attack comes. Why attack now, and gives UMNO the opportunity to change its blueprint, that would be a political blunder for PR. Doc, you did a very good analysis on cowgate before it was expose, well, do you think you are the only one whom knew about it. PR has to wait patiently for HARD evidence. These type of evidence is not easy to come by. It really paid off and kudos for RR for doing a wonderful job.
Well, Doc, I know perhaps… you will not like it… that’s politics.
YOu have your views and I have mine. I respect yours and hope you can accord the same to mine
This case would not have gone this length had NTR as the PM and UMNO president acted decisively from day 1. It was denial first on the part of the Government and UMNO with all kinds of justification and attempts to sweep the issue under the carpet. To go for criminal charge will not be easy without hard evidence on wrong-doings but can we ignore perceptions of poor governance, and non-accountability. Morally this matter smells of corruption in high places & cronyism, wastages, proven non-performance and possibility of bail out. OK , this is in the past but can you allow same to happen again and again. 1-Care may result in the same ending if the Government does that reform on the way it goeverns and sad to say no sign of improvement.
NFC is about good governance, accountability, corruption in high places, NOT about Sharizat only. How can the government award a soft loan at only 2% to a company to do as it pleases, no guarantee or guarantor to repay, no viability study or track record and no property charged to secure loan.
If I can get such loan at 2% I would invest them for higher returns even if they come with high risk.
Ablogsmith..
Put it in ABCDE… they can do wonders!
have to edit.. i can’t afford to lose my job.. still has 5 kids to feed and educate.. long way to go
I agree. Than the attack should be on the government and in particular MOA. Why focus on shahrizat?
Doc,
The government is too big a machinery to attack on. Focus on SJ would be better because the evidence is there. We need HARD evidence. UMNO will make sure, you will pay for it if you have no evidence even it is a FACT! Did Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng went to jail for fun? Why is RPK residing in UK? That is why until SJ resigns and Utusan Malaysia carries the headline news for the kampung folks to read, it will be the day for the opposition.
If I am in politics, I would do the same. Do a lot of small damages and make mega news of it. Like what the opposition did to Zakaria Mat Deros, Khir Toyo and now SJ.
I had always respected Chua Soi Lek move to resign immediately. It had prevented the mega news and he has been elected as a president now. Chua Soi Lek owns up to his action not SJ. SJ still wants to bullshit her way around.
be fair! you would not like people being unfair to you!
Focussing on SJ when it has nothing to do with her. NFC failure lies with MOA and NFC
“when it has nothing to do with her”
I find this hard to believe.
HY,
Read it this way. NFC is a legal entity separate from SJ. Does it belong to SJ? No. Was there a coercion or undue influence employed by SJ? That is for MoA and perhaps the court to elucidate. Till that happens we must not only give SJ the benefit of the doubt but must also allow that benefit of the doubt to flow in her favour.
Granted, her husband’s image is already tainted and Doc agreed that she has to carry that stain. Thus, it is not a question of integrity but a question of whether she has the courage to carry that stain and face the people. If she can’t it is up to her to take the initiative to leave politics.
It is not about what you believe but it is about what you can prove
SJ is my personal friend. She did not spend RGT 60 million buying apartment.
Only her husband and children did. They pay RGT350,000.00 per mth to
banks to keep the apartment.
SJ has nothing to do with it.
let him shine bro…let him shine…lets not be selfish.
shine ,, yes but use la different polish and brush… dok use the same one… better use different brush and show the public that he has what it takes
true.he should also look into dato lim kang ho who got control of key land in johor worth RGT 80 BILLION in JVing with KPRJ.Kang Ho intend to sell off
JV rights for immediate RGT X BILLION of DOLLARS!
this sarawakain is my neighbor in tmn titiwangsa and is very close to Ghani
(Danga Bay) and Hishammuddin(Ekovest Bhd).
Mahathir gave DUKE project to Harris Hussein as ‘retirement’ gift and subsequently award the job to Ekovest Bhd.(2 BIL WORTH!)
Now Najib award RIVER OF LIFE project to Ekovest Bhd(advisor konon!!)
Lim worth RM 2.3 BILLION near Keramat.EPF is paymaster.
Just to add, I like her as a person; she’s not as stuck up as her predecessor, who incidentally is influencing a low coast, long haul airline to appoint an ad agency in which she personal stakes in.
Oops… LMAO
She has personal stakes in
Salaam Doc.
While I agree with your contention that the 1Care thingy is a huge issue, and while the NFC fiasco may not be as huge or as brownie-points making, I still believe that it should be given the same kind of attention based on not only the magnanimity of the amount but also the people who are involved.
I’m acquainted with her kids; my younger brother and them are friends. I’m closer to the bf of the daughter, himself a fellow East Malaysian whose father used to be our Defence Minister.
So as not to be seen as personal, I’m not going to touch on the characters of the children. But suffice to say, had it not been who their mother is, they will certainly not get this loan. Moreover, and believe you me in this, Ellese asleep us way smarter than these boys.
I agree with you when you said Rafizi is making a career out of this scandal. But what is so wrong about it? I mean, most people who have gone on to be successful politicians have had a good break, a career making agenda that they pursued. DSAI had Baling; TDM had Malay Dilemma.
Dear Sabahan 18
My contention is the NFC matter is being address by various agencies. Why not take a pause first. There is nothing wrong for RR to make a career out of the NFC but I think he should move on to other issues that affect the nation. It appears he has only one issue and like a LP he is playing it again and again. I agree that under most circumstances the loan was given because the chairman is the husband of SJ but I think that is an establish fact. Unless someone has prove to show that she breaks any law, I think it is unfair to raise issue as if that the lady himself are the one that control everything.
My aim in this post is to ask PR to look into 1-CARE as it has bigger implications.
btw- how is the Korma coming along
Dear Doc,
She did not tango with her husband and her children but unfortunately she tags along with them. Thus, unfortunately, she has to carry that NFC tag too…
I agree that she has to carry the stain..
just the stain.she is bigger than NFC issue.she helps the poor, women and children.she MUST NOT be blamed,NFC is key to our meat supplies as well.
Fair enough.
Could it be that his knowledge of the Health industry is limited? Knowing the kid, he’s not one to open his mouth on things he has no knowledge about.
I would think that people like Jui Meng, who used to be the minister, should be the one who should be addressing this.
This, to be perfectly honest, is where DAP and PKR differs. The former has different people addressing different issues that concerns the nation, while the latter tends to pack onto 1 or 2 issues.
Korma
Korma? Huh?
Please refresh my memory 😉
Oh, I think you should join DAP lah Doc, I’m sure they’ll welcome you 😜
Bro…
I think Doc knows someone who has a small korma farm here… and he is teaching him how to do manual pollination of the korma trees.
LOL .. la hai!
my friend in kpg padang balang has an uncle who breed 12 goats.nice fat ones.his 14 yr old nephew actually ask me if he can sell these goats and
he only want to know WHAT IS THE PRICE UMNO WOULD PAY!
he is confused and said UMNO buy LEMBU at good price. ha ha..
Doc I second you.
On another note, there’s a good write on this issue as well. I refer to http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/2012/02/08/1care-more-transparency-needed/.
To me, this is definitely a heavy topic to resolve. As for others I thought http://www.who.int/health_financing/countries/en/malaysia.pdf was quite instructive as well.
On her return from the umrah, Shahrizat said: “Why have I went to Mecca three times in two-and-a-half months? Because I’m God-fearing, I ask for guidance from Allah.”
Three times in two-and-a-half months? How many times she goes to Mecca in a year?
why so jealous that she goes to mecca? what is the problem? what about mokhzani whose kencan bhd is worth RGT 6 BIL? even if he owns 20 percent, he is a BILLIONAIRE.
why only attack Shahrizat?
