- Were there any laws broken when Agro-science Industries Sdn Bhd was given the opportunity to develop the National Feedlot Center? I can confidently say no. When PKR Rafizi Ramli/Zuraida Kamaruddin press release mentioned about they have been raising this issue since early 2010, I lough at it because I know they did not. This guy is merely trying to project himself and being an ambitious guy he will stick himself to the big guns of PKR.
- Their source of information was likely to be the articles in my blog. Maybe Rafizi Ramli should address the issue of lack of school in BA and abandon housing in Ukay Bistari rather than taking a trip to Gemas in an effort to politicize the matter. After all he lives in the same neighborhood as I do. I don’t understand why would a local guy be interested in cows in Gemas when he can see them in Sentul!
- Classical in everything the politician does in the country, though it is morally wrong, they usually do not break any laws. It is usually follow set procedures but off course unofficial pressure from the minister helps the right people to get what they want. They play by the rules and in between the rules. When they want to break the rule, they tends to do it verbally or by way of making inferences. Political network helps to get things done expeditiously. Friendly parties will be assisted to the extent that able parties will be sidelined.
- Unless Rafizi Ramli can show that Shahrizat or her family members had broken any laws on the approval of RM250 mill loan at 2% p.a. to ASIB, I suggest that better focuses his energy on something more fruitful. It is public knowledge that RR lied to us VICTIMS of abandon housing about his office managed to get some funds from SSG to help revive the project. On a personal basis I will not vote for such a man who lied openly and probably has no inkling on what the issues are at NFC until he apologies to VICTIMS appropriately. There are plenty of shortcomings when it comes to BA that he can address which he chose not to.

dr,
answer to your question is simple.
you aint in UMNO and you are not a Minister.
anyway, it was doomed from day one. young kids still wet in the years becoming EDs? No wonder bulls are not working with ED (erectile….) hence they are unproductive, no?
oh come on doc.. u know all of this is so taht nurul izzah can beat sharizat in the next GE
the case of NFC and sharizat family is ‘legal’ daylight robbery.
too bad rafizi is all about politics
I guess you could now re-apply the loan via the ‘proper channel’ and surely you will get them pronto thats the project is truly yours and mentioned in your blog. just a catch… the block vote will go to?
Dr Raffick, Welcome back ! I didn’t realise until today that your blog was “alive” again.
Did Shahrizat or her family members break any laws on the approval of RM250 mill loan at 2% p.a. to ASIB ?
Probably not a direct offence unless there is a smoking gun showing her exerting influence or pressure to make that happen.
Morally, it is repugnant, and more confirmation of the disease affecting Malaysia’s governance.
Government projects awarded to a company run by UMNO Minister’s family.
Malaysia doesn’t belong to UMNO !
“I don’t understand why would a local guy be interested in cows in Gemas when he can see them in Sentul!”
Still got lembu in Sentul meh?
“Unless Rafizi Ramli can show that Shahrizat or her family members had broken any laws on the approval of RM250 mill loan at 2% p.a. to ASIB,”
I thought if that is not an arm’s length transaction, tax authority should take action?
Go to sentul at a house bordering sentul YTL project..there is 4 or 5 cows there.. very near to the LRT line
Interesting, i use to have this phobia to step on cow dung because there are countless cows strolling around in the place i grown up, but i see none today
Will you buy me dinner at Chillis if I take you there
Warm Regards, Dr R@28
welkam back doc
tell it like it is Doc. Politicians wl be politicians, and this exposure i hope will make him realise to do right things and not lie to get mileage. I wish in the next GE for only the right candidates to be given the priority so that they serve the rakyat well and not for personal gains. Thanks Doc for coming back. Salam.
Dear Hanim
I suppose i must make it clear in the lembu issue
(1) Legally Shahrizat, Family & Co has not broken any laws
(2) Was the government wrong giving RM250 mill, the Fun For Food monies at 2% without collateral for this project. It is wrong and a poor decision by the government. I would have done it differently. I suspect it was done intentionally with political leverage. Proving it another thing.
(3) Recently after starting my own Fun Farm project, I approached the banks for the 3F loan for a mere sum of RM300K. I was told the interest is 4% p.a. and need to come up with 30% collateral. Here some guy gets half the interest for such a huge amount with no collateral. How can that be? Isn’t there a standard policy in place?
Doc
Nothing new! One standard and policy for UMNO leaders and cronies. Another standard and policy for ordinary folks like you.
UMNO government can make a lot of policies and contracts above the law with the help of lawyers. There were many lopsided contracts awarded to cronies and relatives of UMNO/BN and still above the law. That is how they steal the money legally from rakyat coffers and ordinary folks would hard to understand the complexity of the schemes.
The sad story is there are many especially rural folks still support the corrupt regime and being “grateful” to them while they are enjoying their lootings!!
