1. This morning, I made a working day trip to Segamat Johor where I pass through Tampin, Gemenceh and Gemas.I had always wanted to visit the Gemas camp where my former colleague is now the Commander of the hospital in the camp. I had also wanted to visit the National Feedlot Center as I have the intention of starting a cattle feedlot farm.
2. Over the years, I have made friends with Izzana Salleh (only via SMS and never met her in person) who is the Executive Director of NFC. Izzana is the daughter of Shahrizat Jalil (SJ) whom I had the pleasure of dealing with in a professional capacity. SJ helped me to secure the compensation for 75 primary school children who was legally deprived from a promised financial compensation by an organization that is associated with National Welfare Foundation. It took me two years dealing with many people and one meeting with Shahrizat solved everything.
3. Last night, I SMS Izzana and requested for her permission to visit the farm. Unfortunately my request was politely turned down on the grounds of bio-security and it is restricted to government officers only. My attempts to convince her that I am bug free ex government servant did not help. Anyway that did not stop me from peeping through the fence with a pair of binoculars and spending about an hour around the area outside the “bio-security zone.”
4. To be frank I am kind of confused with the various entities that are involved in the National Feedlot Center. My limited research today has not been very successful in getting answers. I inquired from Izzana and when I told her that I am researching for my blog, I guess that scared her off. She asked me to write to her brother Izran (Wan Shahinur Izran Bin Mohamad Salleh) for an official reply. I am still waiting for a reply.
5. My research indicates that , the National Feedlot Centre (NFC) is a joint project between Negeri Sembilan and the Federal Government through the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry (MOA). Along the line somewhere it is mentioned that the NFC project is owned by National Livestock Corporation Sdn Bhd which is said to be owned by Agro Science Industries Sdn Bhd(AISB). AISB was incorporated on 4th March 2005 and Izran who was 20 years old then was the owner.
6. I read somewhere that says either AISB or NFC was given a soft RM250 million loan (with 2% interest over 10 years) in Dec 2007 to start get the feedlot centre going and is targeted at producing 28% self -sufficiency level for beef production by 2010. NFC website has not been helpful in explaining the professional relationship between all this entities. It is simply too confusing. I suspect the MOA Inc owned a useless golden share in NFC Sdn Bhd
7. Fast forward, I was shocked to see what I saw at the site. The so called beef valley project of 2000 hectares is vastly filled with Acacia Pulpa trees. The MOA spent millions in preparing the infrastructure and planting grass. NFC SB subsequently took over the planting of grass (Napier) but the result was disappointing. Grass was growing sparsely on several places. My research indicates that the company has only planted about 350 acres with grass and they are struggling because of the poor soil condition and the vigorous Acacia trees.
8. The plan was to have 60,000 heads of cattle and currently there is only 2000 heads at one time. Since inception, my research showed that the company has only purchase in 6000 cattle from Australia to date. It is planning to push its beef products to the various Hypermarkets. There are also talks that they wanted to export. I am really confused on the on going at NFC. It was setup to meet domestic demand but now they are looking at export. NFC has not been able to achieve its projected targets. I do not know whether they have any contract or satellite farms as indicated in their website.
9. Equally shocking, another Australian company (Lambert) which is located next to the NFC farm has closed shop. My observation showed that the location is definitely a wrong place to set up farms. The cost of soil treatment is very high. It is better to plant oil palm or to set up a forest plantation there. It appears the RM250 mill has been well spent but not on beef. I will write more about this.

THAT’S WHEN WE HAVE OUR COUNTRY BACK TO SOME REAL DECENCY …
MIGHT TAKE ANOTHER LIFE TIME!
WE MIGHT NOT BE LUCKY TO SEE IT!
UNLESS RADICAL CHANGES ARE MADE AND THE PEOPLE BECOME THE REAL BOSSES AND KICK OUT THE BIG BUNCH OF CROOKS THAT WE HAVE TODAY WALKING IN THE CORRIDORS OF POWER !
Dear CSI,
We can bark and keep barking……, but it would still need another three solid years. ….., so do you have any Futurist….predictions for us.
Dear Dr. Rafick,
(PLEASE BLOCK THIS COMMENT IF YOU FEEL OUR READERS ARE NOT MATURED ENOUGH )
Sometime back,…it became a issue that the Zakat and Fitrah contributions…..can only be used for the well being of MUSLIMS.
My Question..?
i.) Are Istana’s of rulers and the YDPA built with money from only the Muslim’s or is it built with sin money from the kafir citizen’s of Malaysia. For they being the guardians of ISLAM…., they should stay away from everything or should disassociate themselves with everything that is from non Muslim contributor’s.
ii.) Who’s money is used to built all the Mosques around Malaysia…..? I don’t Know….., can some one out there enlighten me.
If ……, it’s money from sin taxes……., I feel we have to rebuilt all these mosque’s all over again
That should be the norm……, we should also not use Petronas money…….., because it’s not the sole proprietor of the malays………., it belongs to all Malaysians.
BALASI,
THE MINISTER OF RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS, THE YB MAJOR GENERAL (RTD) SAID HE CANNOT REVEAL IT OR WON’T REVEAL IT & HE SAYS: DO NOT ASK!
GET IT?
SO WHAT CAN WE DO?
MONEY BELONGS TO GOVERNMENT, SO THEY WILL SPEND ACCORDING TO THEIR WHIMPS AND FANCY!
WHEN DID WE EVER HAD THE RIGHT TO DECIDE?
WHEN DID WE EVER GET OUR CONSENSUS HEARD?
WHEN IS YOUR OPINION IMPORTANT?
WE CAN ONLY VOTE!
SO VOTE THE RIGHT PARTY THE NEXT TIME!
SO THAT WE CAN SAY WHAT WE WANT!
COME ON BALASI GROW UP LAH!
BALASI,
IT IS THE SAME WITH THE EVER GRAND NEW ISTANA NEGARA…HOW MANY MILLIONS?
IN THE FIRST PLACE DID THE KING HIMSELF ASKED FOR IT?
PRETTY SURE IT WASN’T HIS IDEA!
SOME SMART ALEX CAME OUT WITH A GET RICH QUICK SCHEME..AGAIN….
SURPRISE OR NOT ?
DID THEY ASK YOU ABOUT IT?
HOW MANY BETTER SCHOOLS & HOSPITALS CAN BE BUILT INSTEAD OF JUST FOR A FEW ROYALS!
HOW MUCH SPENT AND HOW MUCH MORE TO BE SPENT FOR UPKEEP AND MAINTENANCE?
THIS IS CALLED MALAYSIA MEMANG BOLEH !
CSI,
You want me to grow….., I’m already reaching fifty two, joint tulang pun sudah bunyi…., memang tunggu masa sajalah..!
You got me wrong or what…..? Change memang nak tukar…., but sometimes tukar dengan ada KATAK pun tak guna juga…., hope you got it.
Dear Balasi
(1) Palace are built with Tax payors money
(2) I am not sure whose money is being used to built the mosque at many places in this country as I am not privy to the information.
(3) I know that the mosque next to my house was built with monies from Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor and collections from local residents over the last 10 years. JKR was the project manager.
Dear Dr. Rafick,
Thank you….., I’ll buy that……., but I remember the National Mosque in KL….., in the sixties……, was built with contribution of all races…., Can you confirm Doc ?
It has nothing to do with the religion that we as a individual profess……, it’s why……be are paying so much attention to it …, I hope you got me.
Why go into details…, just share the cake…., nobody is going to take it with him when he leaves this world of Sins……, but please tell these morons whoever they are that they cannot spend tax payers money at their whimp and fancies….., and also tell the Government of the day to spend prudently.
It is not shame for a country seeking to achieve Develope status in another ten years and we have our folks seek handouts from the public to treat their children…..a real FARCE.
Do you want me to tabulate and show how much the the money spend on this new Istana can be used for our own folks health care.
Sick of our politicians. Bigger Morons then you thought of them.
Dr. Rafick,
It still not to late to derail the Istana and make it a free hospital for our folks….., earth work just started and piling works will commence might be in another four months.
Don’t know….? Let the others comment.
Dear balasi
In taking on any opponent, pick the one that we know we have better chances to win.
Sun Tzu said,” Know your enemy”.. and then pick a fight
Dear Dr. Rafick,
If that’s the case….., we should close one eye…., and make ourselves stink. Don’t know if that’s what you wanted to relay…? Anyway thanks for the advice.
My late father use to say….., not on politics…., but comparing us with our immediate cousins ( who were middle class then ) ” you cannot beat them, so don’t fight them.”
While ordinary citizens worked their butts off to pay for their children education, these ‘lucky’ youths got millions ‘assistance’ by the Government for their ‘experiment’ or ‘practice’ (of trial and error).
Any ‘lembu’ with a little brain would have bought a well-run existing farm and expand from there.
Here, goons like them may even attempt to rare the cattle in Kuala Lumpur. Lucky for us that all the lands were all given away already. Otherwise, watch out when you are driving at night.
This project is just a decoy; most of the money would have been deposited into a bank (at 4% per annum – making as much as they have to pay the bank. A quick calculation: RM250,000,000 x 2% = RM5,000,000 per year profit; No capital required).
I will be waiting for such loan. Anyone can offer tips on how to acquire it???
Malaysian Cynic,
Invest some money……, and try to become a UMNO Divisional leader……, even if all you branches cover cemeteries…(kubur ) and the dead are members…., then you would be eligible….
If you are from KL….., I suggest you open a UMNO branch… in Tanah Perkuburan Islam Jalam Ampang…., then built up your network to all surrounding Tanah Perkubururan in KL….., hopefully in three year’s you can become a Divisional Leader……, then it’s ” All System Go “.
Naj and Muh……, will attend the openning of you egm…..,
if not just call Samy or Kavi…., last that boleh call Ong.
i’ll wait for part 2 before i part further with my comments.
Eagle Eye,
Don’t wait for us to kick the bucket……, just keep posting.
Even if you are caught on a wrong footing…., nobody is going to come after you….., we are all one family….., each taking care of one and another.
Young entrepreneurs must be given opportunity to succeed. But they must besides knowledgeable in the business venture have integrity i.e. honest and responsible.
The government aided banks and finance companies must start to act like Alongs. All of us know that failure in repayment to Alongs will be dealt severely. What kind of collateral did the government/bank reguired ? Macam ini another NP loan and bankrap lah kerajaan !
AK,
Teach these Guy’s to FISH….., don’t ever give them fish…, like what the Old cock did….., untill the economy is death.
White elephant’s all around……and it takes years to complete a two year project….., mind you ….., no LAD pulak….., sebab ……dia orang baru belajar….., at who’s expense AK…..the rakyaat…..or the arse holes leading the country.
Dear AK
There are many entrepreneur development program out there run by many agencies. Most of them are given loans from 10K to 200K.
I know a few people who took the Agro bank 3F loan schemes at 3.75% interest. They have put up their property as collateral
Here the loan is RM250 mill. Interest is 2%. Collateral – having the right name is good enough
ayoyo….what will happen to our future generation then….no wonder bank pertanian also stop giving agriculture loan nowadays……sudah tak ade duit lagi kot….i baru ingat mau start business bela ular sawa.( animal oso maar)….so kan belit the bank….but its to late now i guess….
I wander watever happen to that project…about making hollywood studio in pahang/johor sometime ago…..dengar cerita another failure….money already gone missing…
same like PKFZ project baru mau tangkap…… money all taken out of the country allaidy….2 BILLION….2000million wow!!!!
same like BNM baru mau ambil action bila money all taken out of the country… all enforcement officer sleeping maa…semua sandiwara…..

Mymy,
Forget about Ular sawah…., just bela Babi hutan…., Zero cost for maintainance….., tak payah inject appa ubat…, they treat themself….if when sick.
Talking about PKFZ……, why give …OC Phang leave to get out of this country…..from 14/12.09 to 9/1/2010….?
Is it for her to stash her ill gotten gains for nobody to see…?
Our courts don’t walk the talk……., they squezee what’s left for their own gains……., if you got my point….
If the AG has all the details….., just start prosecuting…, why must the courts delay…., when it’s of atmost public importance….? Shadow play is it ?
Stupid cases can be heard…..at odd hours just to appease the guys who walk in the corridor of power…, if not a lay men just wastes his time…., just to get a date for hearing.
Hope the rest got what I wanted to relay.
RM250m for 60,000 lembus & so 1 lembu costs RM4,166 … now $$$ all spent liao but only got 6,000 lembus … so actual lembu costs per head RM41,666. moral of the story: never overlook the power of jiro … anything divides by jiro gives u infinity ………. merry Xmas to all & moo, moo, moo …
pinsysu,
Chiak beh liao….lah, kanni neh chow che bai…., pu kepala But. …… ., Bodoh punya Bank…..
Frankly speaking…., can this country come out of this calamity…. in one whole piece….., I doubt.!!!!
Forgive me for sounding so negative……,but that’s the reason….. for even Malays to migrate.
dr !
,,,indeed, all these years I have wondered to myself where the “lembus” are ?…even from the air as a chopper pilot, I had great diificulty in locating the cattles !. Always had this fishy feeling deep inside that something is not right but can’t put a finger to it. Guessing who the ‘lembus’ are eeeeemmmm ??. Indeed, lots of bull-shit though yaa…everywhere we step nowadays ?. Never ending !!…got to put an end to it and the guilty parties pays for it too yaa !!.
,,,in fact, I saw with my own two eyes the destruction of the virgin jungles all over the country in the past 30 years or so and be replanted with ‘kelapa sawit’ or just wasted open land left to rot/erroded away.
,,,even remembered your BA area being raped left/right and centre in the early days, when we flew our training flights high above her too. My Americam flying instructor late Capt. Col. Robinson used to advise me that the future residents will pay dearly for it and now its really happening. They got the timbers and raped the land plus so called redeveloped it just to further rob the innocent rakyat. It was all planned such a way and they think they can get away with murder !.
,,,dr thanks to people like you, “brave hearts” that are willing to fight back !. Nothing is further than the truth…sadly, too many people believe and accept that they lack what it takes to change their lives or for the good of our nation in determining our country’s destiny.
,,,Lets prove how wrong can they be ! Believe me, you/us have all that we need to make the CHANGE…VIA OUR UNIQUE STYLE AND MENTAL STRENGTH.
,,,DR FARICK YOU ARE ONE DARN GOOD EXAMPLE OF A TRUE FIGHTING MALAYSIAN. (balasi so are you too ! o.k brother)
Capt,
Give me five….., so to the Doc. Cheers….Bro.
Dear Dr. Rafick,
What can you expect from a 20 year old running a company. Do you not see how easy it is for them to acquire huge loans, knowing that success for the project is a sure failed one. Everything can do in this Boleh Land.
Datuk,
Want to apply for OD facilities….with my Service suite in PD worth RM 200,000.00, …..and three months later ,
Public Banks offers…..RM 60,000.00.
The lawers from the bank would take 10 K of it…?
Then these jokers fleece the rakyaat’s money…., with no collateral……., dump it some where…., and case Close.
Bastards…..should be brought to book…., starting with Wang Ehsan Projects in Trengganu…., under Old Man…, before he………………………?
Another missuse of government fund, no wonder our budget raise more than 10% every year, to fund the corrupted gangs.
With so many projects that wasted more billions of ringgit, why do our government need to impose GST, cut sugar subsidise, revamp petrol subsidise, raise the electrical tarrif?
Government just need to correct all the wrongdoing, then no price need to be raised.
But, why the situation come to today status?
simple, Bn is too bad in govern the country, BN need to be changed. Kick out BN in GE13………
Dear vp,
Which ever party comes into the fore front…., we will still face the same dilemma…., it’s just that BN had it with them for so long…..and yet fail to deliver. So change we all hope for.
On the issue of raising taxes……, how to fill their pockets ?…….the warlords pockets…., I was in KLCC Suria this afternoon and saw some guy’s…..after prayers,
and they were talking about millions….., when I feel they had not even handle a gra………………………….
God bless us all
,,,aarr haha !..its about time this meat eating Capt. taste some blood too !! Its about bloody time, we start to open more cans to check its fat worms ??.
,,,we the honest to goodness ‘taxs-payer’ had been taken for such a long long bloody dirty ride and its pay-back time indeed. Lets all gang-up together and round-up these so called innocent sons & daughters Sdn. Bhd. of “Devils” in sheep-skin or just thick-skin politicians and nail them across the wall for goodness sake !. …its a cattle round-up hay ??
,,,Yes indeed, we should round-up their daddy and mommy too in the process. They will now have sleepless nights and nightmares if they do ?.
,,,starting just from beef farms to taking over the Offshore Helicopter business by ‘son-in-laws’ of you know who, putting back all the Malaysianization Programme back to square one after all the honest efforts by the few honest & fearing to God individuals that willingly sacrificed their careers in the Air Force in-order to face the challenges in Nationalization of the offshore helicopter business back to Malaysian.
,,,Yet, now its same old story of “Ali Baba Sdn. Bhd.” and given to the Canadian Helicopter Company after we have had got it done with, with the British Helicopter Company. Just killing our own home grown Malaysian Helicopter Company because its just easy money for this son-in-law fellow, who don’t care a bloody shit about Malaysia but his own pocket !…plus the lost of billions of ringgit in foreign exchange to our nation. You had this time round boy, we are going after you…just wet your asses.
,,,guess, its about time we all taste their selfish bloody blood and lets expose them this time round ??….We have had enough of these nonsense….YES BLOODY ENOUGH OF IT…WATCH OUT… you darm corrupted guys, we are getting you this time round.
,,,dr, you have started the ball rolling and we are indeed bloody glad for its initiative plus bloody thirsty for some blood right now. Lets get THEM !!.
,,,Another late Capt. buddy of ours, brought up about the Port Klang ‘sell-out’ and am sure he’s laughing in his grave right now too, finally. This time round, lets laugh together while we are still around and in kicking their bloody corrupted asses ?. hohohoo.
,,,YES, we are “apolitical” indeed and any ‘dirty politicians’ is a target if I might add in !.
yaa..Agi idup agi ngelaban !!
Capt,
Wan’t to roll the ball…….., name ” The Son in Law “, I’m a bit blur about this….., but would love to take it up a notch higher since my bro was also from RMAF (One Squd.)
We will and always be apolitical……just after the guy’s who will sell the welfare of future generations….so that they can accumulate enough to bribe the devils in Hell.
(Not knowing that we have to burn Hell bank notes.)
Dr Raffick …ini dia Malaysia Boleh mah !
First they cut down all the valuable timber, mind you at 2000 hectares how much money already made?
Next the soft loans…all good at 2%….I don’t mind getting it to start a goat/sheep/camel/antelope farm!
AUSTRALIA just culled 3000 heads of wild camels, we could have got it for free and export IT next year for RAYA HAJI & KORBAN TO SAUDI ARABIA.
Where has all the good money GONE!
Who is this young green horn ( 20YRS ) If not somebody to somebody!
Daughter and sons own this country by proxy..mum and dad just do their “so called work”!
BIO SECURITY IS SUCH A LAME EXCUSE…!
IT IS ONLY TO HIDE THE FACTS,,..ANOTHER BN/UMNO FAILED PROJECT AND NICELY COVERED UP…DIG DIG DIG…..GET THE WHOLE STORY OUT….
Where else can it happen if not BOLEH LAND OR LAND OF THE BOLEH’s !
Doc,
Welcome to it. I too had wanted to venture into cattle rearing a few years ago. Visited most of the places that was promoted by MOA. Im sure you will recall, this was Pak Lah baby then. Anyway, realised soon after that all the deals were “farmed-out” to those who were linked. Some of the officers at MOA and Jabatan Pertanian were frank enough to tell me its not worth pursuing coz politicians and cronies have all taken it all. About the same time, I was also made aware of a feedlot farm operated by Sharizat Jalil’s husband i.e Mohd Salleh. Now that you are telling me that her daughther and son are involved…comes as no surprise to me. Why would they want to help you and become a competitor? Anyway, most of these people cant even stand the smell of the dung and thus would not be hands on managers. Soon you may be able to buy it over for a dime. Good luck.
First they controlled the rice.
Then they controlled the sugar and flour.
Water came in close third.
And now comes the beef.
Soon will be chicken, mutton, fish, vegetables… if it have not happened already (wink! wink!).
Malaysians better learn to eat gras.. oops, nope, acacia leaves quickly.
So what do you think, Dr Rafick? You are not surprised, are you?
You and I know damned well that this is just one of the endless scam of the tax-payers’ money. Soft loan? In this case it means tak perlu bayar balik.
Just what you already know, as reported in this post, is more than enough to confirm this scam.
Never ending story Dr! Not until the day UMNO/BN is kaput as the ruling government.
I am already very worried where my meals will come from 2 years down this road.
Dear Dr. Rafick,
Beef…..supply I don’t believe so….., but raw meat from all over the world……, nobody can beat Malaysia…., ” Bolih
Malaysai…., from the front and the rear HOLE ”
It’s still a achievement…..you know.!
Dear Dr. Rafick,
It show’s that they dont even know that Gemas, Bahau..& other districts surrounding it…have the lowest rainfall per year…..if not it’s qua desert.
Some smart ass….just convince them so he would go to hell faster……, These are all projects to fleece the so call silient majority……, who come back home only to screw their wives…..or the other way around and complain..they wer never heard….” BALLLUCKKS “
correction it should read ” ever never heard of “
Malaysia to export beef? This is the joke of the century. Maybe Malaysia can export better halal beef while importing beef from non-Islamic countries to make it more halal. RM250 million is just another leakage. No need to apply for the loan and the loan just went to a 20 year old son of a high government official. Sounds like Alladin and the antique lamp but this is no fairy tale.
Dr Rafick, you still want to be apolitical?
Dear nicermannson,
Bravo….., you finally still got the actual picture…., well come aboard.
I have always maintained that in this country called Malaysia business is done not through what you know but more through whom you know.
The RM 250 m is the real beef.
Being a non financial person I do not know the meaning of a soft loan for RM 250m. Anything above RM1,000 is no longer soft, who will be so kind so as not to collect back?
Wow at 20 years old I was plying from one place to another in a public bus. For some gifted person, she was already a director of a company. I don’t think it was a RM2 company.
Who ever voted for BN must be a feedlot citizens, literally speaking!
Dear Eagle Eye,
Forgive me if I regard you as a stupor Idiot….., don’t you know that this is 1 Malaysia Bolih…….,
Did you forget Tun Ling’s son owing RM 28 Billion sometime back…., Ini Malaysia Bolih..!
These Bastards……will never or ever think….., they should leave something for their next generation…., they want to just sapu and buy a ISTANA in HELL…., cheap, no need air Cond., just paper dolls……, and UMNO leaders have bought into it.
Wellcome Idiot’s……, TDM included.
the modern cows do not feed on grass anymore. they rely on KFC .OR the cows are hiding behind the grass for bio security reasons if they notice any outsider with binocular.
Pelangisenja,
They were all caught with their pant’s down……, so they decided to do the dissappering act..
They smelled you when you exited the Senawang NS exit.
These cow’s for their worth……do have cow dung brains…, like the mother of the proprietor. If you get what I mean.
