1. It was a shocked to me to read Malaysian Insider a few minutes ago that Teoh Beng Hock, the political secretary of Seri Kembangan assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah, was found dead in at the MACC Headquarters. To me it is a bloody shocking and unacceptable situation. I wrote this piece immediately after the news broke out pub did not publish it as my mind was really disturbed over the event.
2. It was reported that at a press conference, the MACC director of investigations Datuk Mohd Shukri Abdul said Teoh was questioned from 5pm yesterday to 3.45am and was released soon after. Apparently said he was tired and so he rested on a settee in the lobby. He was seen sleeping on the settee at 6am. It was also reported that at about 1.30pm, the MACC Director said, they heard that a body had been found on the 5th floor of the adjacent building and when one of the MACC officers went to investigate, he realized it was one of their witnesses.
3. His death is not good for the country. I read the statement by Dato Shukri over and over again and I find it perplexing. Why would Teoh be sleeping at the Sofa after being released? Shouldn’t he be calling his family members, friends, his fiancé or political colleagues to inform them that he has been released and need a ride home?
4. The death is a bad omen for the country. It is a bad sign internationally. In the mind of the people, the action of the police and MACC has always been slanted. The death of a politician while he is in the compound of MACC raises a lot of questions. No one that I talk to believes that it is an accident. Speculation is rife that it is murder or an accident while being interrogated. There is a strong rumor that he died in the hands MACC while being interrogated and his body was thrown out the window to cover up the death. The government can say it views the incident seriously and looking at setting up a royal commission but how many people really trust the present government?
5. In reality with the current BN government is perceive as muscling the opposition using the country enforcement agencies. The movement of the Malaysian Non BN political parties has always been monitored. I would not be surprised that there is a dedicated task force that is monitoring the movement, actions and decisions made by the PR MPs, ADUN’s and State Exco’s
6. The way the Police and the MACC conduct its business in this country has not given the people the confidence that they are truly independent. The truth is far less importance then the perception in the eyes of the public. Right now the image of the MACC and the RMP is in a bottomless pit. This will have a big impact on BN.
7. If this is not manage properly, nobody with a clear conscience in this country be it Malays, Chinese or Indians will ever trust the BN. The ruling federal government will be seen as an oppressor using subtle techniques. After the recent Perak Coup and what transpired in the Perak State Assembly, the image of the RMP has already been smudge badly.
8. Now, a death in the MACC office will rock the country further. Where are we going in this country politically? Are we heading towards the tragic history of Aquino assassination? I pray that this would not happen. It is time the Police, Army and MACC be indipendent and act according to the law and not at the whims of the political masters.

The games has just begun, lets see how it ends ?
dexter ko: “So, please push for a team from Hong Kong to come over. After all, our MACC has been modelled after Hong Kong, albeit, with lots of modification. This will clear our Police and MACC, if they are clean.”
Yeah, our MACC is modelled after HK’s ICAC, konon…..
Our MACC spent a nice “working Holidays” in HK, to study the ICAC’s uniform, org structure, work efficiencies, salaries(?), operations, tactics, etc.?
Judging from the results so far, more like our MACC had learnt the superficials of ICAC n modified into their very own “Anti-Model” of ICAC. Boleh betul…

I find it rather strange to hear many disparate statements from various govertnment entities on Teoh’s death, and that there’s isn’t one which can be construed as the official one.
If we start from the very top, except for his condolences there’s not much beyond that. Unless I’ve missed something, the DPM did not offer any. The Home Minister promised a no-nonsense investigation, but betrayed it by lukewarming a RCI proposal a day later. Then of course the minister in the PM’s Dept who must have his hands in every pie, as usual true to his form, made an obnoxious statement. Khairy the Oxfordian like Tsu Koon are all for the RCI.
But the ones which are the most tangential from all the rest must be the statements from Berita Harian and Utusan Malaysia. Here, as we know them, without a doubt are also government “departments”. They got so riled up in their political/rascist spins and hence, the fact that the death of Teoh occurred while he was in the custodian of a government department missed their keyboards by the mile. They must be really sick.
So what can we deduce from all these. Who are calling the shots? Is the government one cohesive monolithic body? Are we on auto-pilot?
We’ll wait for 1PM to come back, and this time it’ll better be the inspirations he got from the Kaabah!
FOLKS GO WATCH ROBERT LUDLUM’s MOVIE ON CIA OPERATIONS, WAS AIRED ON ASTRO LAST NIGHT 18/07/09!

Dr Raffick, as a good doctor, which I for one can trust and having spent some time in the force…tell us !
Any right frame human being wants to jump down to his death on his wedding eve?
Dr, this nation of ours never fail to surprise me. It is the law of the jungle here. The actions of MACC, BN and the RMP make me ashame to be a Malaysian. I hope the death of TBH will inspired others to carry on the struggle with more conviction to make Malaysia a better place for everybody. It also make us aware of who we are up against, this BN is an this evil demon who will go to all extreme to see democracy and justice in Malaysia fail.
Dr,
There were several more questions being raised in the chinese papers today.
1. The parents of the deceased found his car clamped in the car park on the first day but when they went back to retrieve it later, it had been removed by the polis.
2. The deceased’s handphone was never found.
3. All access into and OUT of the macc office requires access card. There was no way the macc can claim that they RELEASED the deceased to loiter around their office at 4am. He cannot leave their office without being accompanied by an macc officer.
And more to come…
If the macc persists to continue to lie, they will soon get entangled in their own web of deceit.
Dr,
What we need now is a team from MACC Hong Kong to assist Malaysian Government. I can safely say that there will be no independent investigation from our Royal Police, MACC or be it SUHAKAM.
So many cases like this already but no one being charge in court as yet. Public have no trust in their so called ‘independent’ investigation.
So, please push for a team from Hong Kong to come over. After all, our MACC has been modelled after Hong Kong, albeit, with lots of modification. This will clear our Police and MACC, if they are clean.
Death is part of life. Without death there can be no life. Death is never a bad omen. It signifies the birth of something new and in this case I believe something significant will take place. It is like salt crystal. When the environment is saturated all it takes is a single crystal , a single defining moment, for a tiny crystal to spread through the entire environment.
If you think that only the non-BN members and supporters were been monitored by umno you are mistaken. It is the nature of umno to be distrustful of their allies and the adage that “we should keep our enemies close but our friends closer” holds true for umno.
You had uncles and relatives in SB. Ask those retired SBs, particularly those high ranking SBs how they were been kept under surveillance even after they had retired. They have too much secret and if revealed can be highly embarassing and damaging. A writer with such an uncle related this to a doctor who related it to me. I had met both of them. So take this as a rumour
.
If true isn’t this reminiscent of stalin russia ?
Dear morning dew
Can you explain para 3 . I dont quite follow.
All you Malaysians who have been gullible enough to be taken in by Najib’s 1Malaysia and ‘liberalisation’ policies, please open your eyes. Teoh Beng Hock’s death is another clear sign that Najib is plotting at all cost to destroy the opposition so UMNO can maintain its grip on power.
And you PR politicians, please stop squabbling like monkeys when the tiger is already in your midst.
dr,
he doesnt need a ride home. his car was in the MACC building and he could have drove home himself if it was possible.
another councillor (Tan) under interrogration on the same day last saw Teoh at 6 am at the pantry. So, Teoh was not sleeping as alleged by MACC. Tan was only released at 1.30 pm the same time it was alleged that Teoh’s body was discovered. How coinicidental, isnt it?
so is wee choo keong..he started the whistle at his own people…n no proofs..now teoh have to die for his publicity stunt….a lady unmarried pregnant m an unborn baby with no father.
