More questions then answers…

01/07/2008 by drrafick

1. The recent police report lodge by Mohd Saiful Bahari (MSB) against DSAI has brought the nation to a state of chaos. The stock market is reacting very badly to the news. For two consecutive days, the stock market has been shedding some fat. It appears that the news is now becoming a liability to the government.

2. Malaysian politics will never be the same again. Politically speaking, the country is chaos. The only good thing is that this chaotic situation has yet to spill to the streets. First, we have the unresolved issue of Althantuya murder. RPK SD issue has yet been resolved. Somehow, the police has yet to question RPK over the SD. Maybe they are busy and shorthanded. While the two Lt. Kol has sued RPK but Najib and Rosmah has chose not to sue. It is so kind of them. Why are they no suing?.. is now the talk in the streets.

3. Now, we have another report by MSB. The police is kept busy again. The country is fed with all sorts of theories. The people is speculating. No one believes Anwar would do it Why not! Most people do not give the police a chance to investigate. I cannot blame them as the police reputation as a professional organization has been under scrutiny of late. The anti-establishment group has made a decision way before any official outcome from the police. To them, Anwar is a messiah that cannot do any wrong? Is it really the case?

4. I have been doing a lot of reading about the subject and honestly, I cannot seem to find any answers. What I found is that there are more unanswered questions. Well, maybe someone with the facts would come forward and provide the explanation. Some of the questions that has been lingering my mind includes:

Q1. Why would Anwar risk it now as of late the people are quite convinced that the 1998 charges are “a fabrication”. Why would he risk his political career a this stage?

Q2. In 1998, the charges and complainant was the government but today it is an individual. For that matter a 23-year-old cute boy. Why would an individual at such a young age wants to make such an allegation that will have an impact on his own safety and future? Anyone in his shoes will have difficulty walking in the street because of shame and fear.

Q3. Would the government benefit in any way by the new revelation? Could it be that the report is actually a liability to the government? In my assessment, the government has more to lose if it “conspire” in the latest allegations.

Q4. Why would MSB, a boy with a future risk his reputation by going to the police? Would he not feel ashamed to his friends and family for revealing to the public that he is a “victim”?

Q5. It was reported that incident took place in Unit 1151 Desa Damansara condominium. Earlier reports indicates that this is where MSB lives. How can a 23 years old afford to rent such a place? Market sources says the monthly rental alone is about RM7000 per month. Well maybe he came from a rich family. Could his daddy is footing the bill or he has a sugar daddy? However a latest newspaper report says that the condo belongs to Anwar’s friend? Whose condo is it actually?

Q6. Would the police risk their reputation once again while conducting the investigations? Would Musa Hassan willing to mutilate further the already image of the police force? I have been observing Musa since he became the IGP. He has been working very hard in improving the Force image. Would he now goes back and unwind all the hard work he has done?

Q7. Off all questions, I think the most important question on the credibility of Anwar accusation that his life is under threat that he had to seek international protection. Honestly I do not believe that his life is under a threat. I believe his actions in last 72 hours is merely to draw international media and government attention into this matter. Anwar claims that he has evidence against Musa Hassan and Ghani Patail, then why not release it? Is he learning a thing or two from RPK? RPK too has not released anything since the famous SD.

Q8. Can we say that, with the latest development, somehow Najib and Anwar has been neutralized and it will be an advantage to Pak Lah?

Q9 The Althantuya case seems to have a strong affinity to Najib’s family and now it appears that this 23 years old boy is also has a link with Najib. Is it a coincident?

Q10. How would you react if one day you receive an anonymous email with part of CCTV footage showing the actual sodomy that took place.? Would you believe it? Do you still think it is a conspiracy?

There are many more questions in my mind. Suffice to say, I could not find any answers. While this power brokers continues with their antics and fight, the people continue to suffer. Whatever it is, foreign powers please stay out. Do not interfere with our domestic affairs

For the people, I suggest – dont react. Its better to go to work and make some money for the family .Dont make things worst by speculating? By the way Najib, can I come and see you to apply for a scholarship!

I have several questions to ask
n i want to pose the questions in Malay,
Q1..otak makchik ni tak leh nak fikir cam mana budak muda yang makchik jangkakan jauh lebih sihat dan kuat macam saiful boleh diliwat oleh DSAI…secara fisikalnya sekiranya benar berlaku…adakah pada waktu itu dia membenarkannya…of course with DSAI known backpain…how can he possibly exert himself(literally speaking) into Saiful’s…….. without the latter’s consent?
Q4…kenapa selepas mengumumkan kepada sekalian rakyat Malaysia yang ada, kesemua pengumuman Saiful selepas itu dibuat melalui peguam, bapa saudara…etc….where is he …afterall he is telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth…
kami nak tengok Saiful..bukan pak sedara dia..lawyer dia…

izinkan saya meluahkan sebarang dua pendapat tetapi saya tidak mahu kaitkan dengan nama baik barang siapa pun.

      1. tak mungkin si tua berumur 1 kurun bernikah lagi lagi isterinya pernah berjangkau belasan orang?

Let us not make any speculation. What good can we do?
    Making more sin then ever.

Comment? Yes of course. Give Them as much as you want.
But, make a non-biased one. Be fair. In dealing with speculative issues you just can’t accuse anyone guilty.

    Police,

Should question Khairul Anas first (aide Najib Tun Razak) instead of Anwar Ibrahim. Who is Khairul Anas ? What is his relation with Saiful bahari ? Is it Khairul Anas gay ? Khairul Anas activities since past 5 years ? Khairul Anas friends ?

My take is that there are a tirade of questions and no answers because that is exactly the intended effect of the king makers-king breakers. from RPK to sodomy, IGP to AG..he’s said he has evidence in one thing and another of how terribly hopeless our country is. And while he’s at it, why not get the international attention too? Everything is said to be revealed soon but thus far nothing. He’s crippling our country, our faith in the system, the judiciary, the police force, our name in on the international front..so that he can emerge our saviour.

Doc, yr views please. IGP n PAT (TV3, news at 0800pm) just gave a joint press conference to kick start a coordinating exercise between the two, POPO drill? I heard in 1998, the Generals did not buy the sodomy case then as presented by Tan Sri Rahim. Perhaps yr contact can give an insight.

    My take :-

AA. Anwar is believed to be day and night working on his Frog Hunting activities. Whoever believes he has time to indulge in such nonsense , even if he really does have homosexual inclinations (personally, I don’t care a less, unless its forced, in which case its a form of rape)

    1. The young man really was involved in homosexual activities.
    2. He got caught. Either voluntarily or involuntarily agrees to implicate Anwar.
In fact, this is one of the reasons why, even in more liberal countries, homosexuality usually disqualifies a person from holding sensitive positions – they are vulnerable to pressure and blackmail.

    3. Anwar, the master political tactician that he is, is milking this event left, right and centre to his benefit.

    4. I don’t think the top leadership in the country is involved in a conspiracy on this case, but I don’t discount a “Free-Lance” operation by lower level UMNO people involving Items (2) . Its not as if Pak Lah is in full control of his party’s machinery.

  13. on 02/07/2008 at 2:04 AM JJoey

Dr Raffick, I find you to be one of the more sensible bloggers around.
While others give speculations and pretend to show evidence, you post questions. Questions that, for any intelligent human being, should question themselves objectively. I think most of the other blogs would just like to imply something, and make people believe, instead of make people question? Disseminating fiction and bravely calling it facts.

And for some weird reason, there are many Malaysian’s out there who feels that it is their job to disseminate these fiction, or rather easily confused as facts. What they should actually do, is educate the people, to be critical, and not just jump on one side of a party….hailing for a particular group of power brokers who are actually fighting for their political survival.

For example, RPK blogs are all claimed to be evidence from a reliable source. But we have yet to see his reliable sources, and I find it disturbing that he has branded himself as “your source of independent news”. The Malaysian people should read and refer to other sources as well. He is after all independent, and from the looks of it, he is not really balance in giving his views. So fellow readers who depend on speculation from bloggers should also read other blogs, and serious think critical. Every story has two sides of it. One would certainly feel that the aide to Anwar was a mole, but a mole is often used to trap someone. Critical question here is why is Anwar not careful of this….or he himself, like a hungry fish, have bitten the bait. Of course, when we fail to be critical, want we hope we want to hear is what we believe in…..

Please keep on writing. I believe in people’s power, and the power we have is to be critical on the so called facts presented to us. So we have to be careful on the sources of evidence we get to support our conjecture, we have to always remind ourselves, that the rakyat first, and not the leaders. The leaders is after all, who we choose. And it doesn’t have to be any of the power brokers that exist now….

    Dear Mymy

Anwar is such a prominent figure. Any attempt on his life will bring a divide in UMNO and will cause BN to collapse. That is why I said Anwar life is in no serious danger.

Althantuya was blown up because she is an unknown figure. It is not right to compare between Anwar and Althantuya

  16. on 01/07/2008 at 7:09 PM mangchik

    Hmm…my take..

    1. I agree it’s fabricated.

    2. Sugar daddy forced him to confess after he failed to deliver the incriminating info from the other side. He was designated as a mole.

    3. Liability. It backfired as it didn’t turned out as planned I presumed.

    4. As per no 2. above.

    5. Top dog, big daddy , main man, sugar daddy!!!

    6. Standard reply from the police – “cari makan maaa..”. they couldn’t care a hoot.

    7. According to YB Zul of http://zul4kulim.blogspot.com , credible info from neigbouring countries intelligence..

    8. Donno how to answer maaa…..

  17. on 01/07/2008 at 6:25 PM mymy

One thing i can assured you…our malaysian thinking mentality are as usual…….mula2 hangat-hangat tahi ayam..after a while everything will die down ….all this assumption and homework have already been done by the conspiators

( If the threat was succesful, knowing malaysian ..they will forget about it in the long run) So i think Anwar is in great danger being in malaysia….a country where c4 bomb accountability (in and out from the storage) is not monitored and maybe is already in the wrong hand. Bear in mind ALTANTUYA case still not resolved…y?..cos it involved top guns.

I dont really know on what grounds do you say Anwar’s life is not in danger? Nowadays…a public’s life on the street also not secured anymore.

And think why the date 26th june was choosen..and not in may or april, cos Anwar was about to stand for an election…knowing this his consprirators..quickly move into position to accuse him.

Can you imagine how much harm will this do to the gov if Anwar wins the election….all those MP on the pagar will quickly join anwar’s party…thus sept 16 d-day will be fulfilled.

Like our Dr Mahathir said (who have done extensive research on Malay people inside out and knows their kelemahan) “orang melayu mudah lupa…” that what happen’s in Saiful’s case…he is a malay..and when you see the offer is so tempting (in form of $$$$) you will give in….on that note take our so call ” EZAM”…who is also a malay what a coincidence…where is he now…back to his own lubang….jijik….

. this guys are not fighters they are merely slaves the word melayu comes from..”layu” mean lemah …easily give in.BUT then those malays who have strong religion foundation and scared of AlMIGHT ALLAH wont give in their soul and energy into this type things.

I think eventually foreign power will get involve ( looks like our PM is inviting them and not Anwar)

Dont tell me our PM was not aware of such a high level incident (case of M.S.B) before it was release to the media….so he merestui…..cos he got more to gain or else he would have quashed and do blackout, if he wants to….so we malaysian are not bunch of dunngus like up there. at level 4

PULAU BATU PUTEH was the last straw….our gov credibility has gone down the drain.
