The truth .. is between Najib and (Lt. Kol Norhayati) Rosmah..

24/06/2008 by drrafick

I refer to the news report in The Star on Wednesday June 25, 2008 MYT 12:47:00 PM under the heading “Najib on Raja Petra claims: Total Lies and Fabrication”. Alas, Najib has finally spoken. I would like to share my views on this matter.

“Denial is not unexpected”.

No one his or her right frame of mind will come forward and say, “Yes, I did it!” The three blokes in on trial are also saying that they did not do it. They are saying that they were not there and the evidence was planted on their jacket and in their car. To say that Raja Petra SD is actually a political prosecution is something that I had anticipated from Najib. Anyone in his position will say the same i.e. it is a standard line of defence. No one in the right frame of mind will admit.

The best line of defence is offence. In this case, maybe Rosmah or Najib should consider taking a legal suit against RPK. This way like everyone will have its day in court.

Why is this case seems to point itself to Najib’s family?

I believe what you have been saying previously that you are not involved with the murder. However, I find it hard to believe that you do not know her. It is hard to believe in your many trips overseas while being involved in the Submarine and Sukhoi deals, you have not had the opportunity of meeting her in the course of talking to the French and Russian using an interpreter.

Can the same be said about your wife? Does she know Althantuya? Only your wife, you and your close aide can answer this question. For the public, they can only guess and speculate.

Why is it that of all Ministers in the Government, the stories seems to be around you and your wife? Pak Lah despite being unpopular is not linked to the Althantuya story. No one seems to be trying to link Pak Lah, his family to the murder of Althantuya. Why is that?

In the world of science, when we are dealing with unknown, scientist work with theories and postulations and do a statistical analysis in coming to a conclusion? Statistically, from my observation as a man of science, the following arguments suggest a deep and high-level conspiracy within the government:

a. Missing immigration entry? It is widely reported in the media that AS immigration record was erased as if she had not entered the country.

b. The policeman that is being charged in court, don’t know her personally and has no real reason to kill her unless someone INSTRUCT them to do so. Somehow this policeman and their direct officer is actually part of your personal security detail

c. The use of C4 that is not available in the open market and in Malaysia C4 is available with the Armed Forces.

d. “The change of courts and prosecuting teams at the very last moment.”

e. RPK SD which specifically mentions the name of two officers, a husband and wife which are again close to DPM (as Lt. Kol Norhayati Hassan is Najib’s wife ADC) and the rumours within MINDEF is that this two officers have cross the “ bow” of many ships and seems to be able to get away with things. I will be writing more about these two officers in my subsequent write-up.

RPK Motives.

Tun M says RPK is making a political ploy. I tend to disagree. RPK is not a politician. I believe that if he wants to contest in the 12th GE, the political parties would have unrolled their red carpets for him. He is not into politics.

I do not see any reason why RPK wants to blemish the name of the military officers in the SD. The name of this two officers has never appears before. In my view, RPK who probably do not know them as well and I do not see why would he want to tarnish the name of two officers that he has no personal contact. He has nothing to gain. These two military officers had also not said anything.

Tun M Comments

As what was reported in Malaysiakini where it was said that Tun M claims that RPK action is a political ploy, there might be a grain of truth in it. In my mind, if what RPK says is 100% true than what ever he is doing is justified, politically or otherwise.

In any case, his action can only brings down Najib but not BN. Because of his action, I believe it will only propel Muhyuddin forward. Somehow he has been media shy of late.. It is no secret that there is a close relationship between PR and RPK but I do not see his latest action will benefit PR. In this aspect, I feel if RPK SD is a political ploy, it only bring good to certain people in UMNO but it has no impact on PR. In fact, going by what has transpired, Tun M may just get to see his wish of Pak Lah being deposed (as he is also implicated in RPK SD). Seriously Tun, I think you need to review your views on this matter.

Doing the right thing…

I suppose anyone in Najib shoes will find it difficult to accept and handle this matter. Firstly, DSN career is on the line. Whether he is actually directly involved in the murder or not is a secondary matter irrespective whether the wife is involved. It is bound to kill his political career. As a husband and father to his children, I guess this kind of talk is not acceptable. Losing face to your own children is worst than losing face to the people.

Maybe the right thing to consider at this stage is to on a Sabbatical leave. During this period, you will not be in the office and you cannot be accused of interfering in the police investigations. All accusation can then be investigated openly and all accusation will be verified for the last time.

As for RPK, I believe the right thing to do is to reveal all the evidence that he has to support his SD. I am equally amazed why the Althantuya Prosecuting Team whom had not  chose  to jump to the opportunity of calling RPK to the stand. I am not privy to how the courts system but I feel the lawyers holding the watching brief for the Althantuya family should question this in court.

For all the people that are involved, I do not know how they can go to sleep at night every night. I wonder how they would feel if the same thing happens to their own daughters. The fact is there are many people out there that actually know the truth but was too scared to say anything. From the person who is tasked in erasing the immigration computer records to others, I am sure there are many people out there that chose to look the other way.

My suggestion is that if you have any solid evidence, release it on the web or sent it to the overseas media like CNN if you think our media is not trustworthy. Today there are many ways you can disseminate hard copy evidence by turning into PDF format or JPG and then email it via Yahoo or Google and use a public kiosk. You cannot be traced.

What is important is the truth must prevail. The deceased soul must be let to rest peacefully. The family must have closure. As Malaysian, we must pray for the deceased and the family. Irrespective what is your religion, do a Sembahyang Hajat or conduct a special prayer in temples or churches ask Allah/God/Lord to reveal the truth. This Friday, let us all pray and ask for The Almighty to show the light to the truth

Whatever it is, let us pray that actual truth will prevail.

Any politician with any sense of integrity and moral would have sued the sh*t out of the newspapers that implied their involvement in the murder. But not DSN. Why???

Those who murdered the poor Altantuya ask your god for help, similarly those who want justice also asked your god for help. So who will your god help???

    Dr. Rafick ,

While you are this , can you please pose a direct question
to this PM-in-waiting , to give a categorical answer as to whether he had in a rally (many years ago in TPCA stadium ? ) , uttered words to the effect that he will bathe a kris with Chinese blood .

I read this bit of accusation from the blogs , and he should be given a chance to deny this , or , to apologise for this if he had indeed such words ( afterall , he did apologise for
that Penang UMNO politician’s actions ).

If he had uttered them , and refuses to retract / apologise ,
then I opine he is NOT fit to be a PM for ALL Malaysians .

    Dear Mat Spanar

I do not think it is right to compare a murder and a sexual fling. It is like comparing apple and durian..

To quote “No one his or her right frame of mind will come forward and say, “Yes, I did it!” ”

Chua Soi Lek claimed responsibility immediately.

Dr, normally the murderers in this country can sleep peacefully and often they are looked up as heroes in the gangland society.

The thieves on the other hand can brag about it to their families and they would enjoy the spoils happily together.

    So who will report them??.

Talking about praying, I remembered Mahathir asked all malaysian to pray to stop Bush from bombing Iraq. Infact the world was praying too, Iraq was still bombed by Bush. Praying will not help!!!

    Hi Doc,

I agree with your thoughts on this matter. But, I do not think anyone implicated will be suing RPK anytime soon.So they will continue with their bare denials and silence. Both do not provide any salvation and only increases speculation of the truth and validity of RPK’s SD.

    Dear Geetha
Thank you for your concern. I share your sentiment in this matter too. Reality is, what I write is nothing new. Most of it are information in the public domain. My analysis tends to be factual and fair to all parties. There is nothing explosive in what I write. You probably has read them in the papers.

Though I do have some fear but I think I cannot be compared to RPK. I dont think I have the courage to do what he is doing.
Sometimes I criticize RPK too because there are times that he does not make sense.

    Anyway Geetha, many thanks

    Dear Dr Rafick,
As you know, this country is not safe for bloggers. RPK did spend sometime in jail and later left the jail because he felt it was not safe to be in jail. if it is not safe to be in jail, imagine how safe can it be outside the jail. So my advise to you is, to keep your views to yourself and do not expose yourself and your family to risk. Judging from the Altantuya trial, its quiet easy to get hold of C4 explosives or, possible detention under ISA. Therefore, please stop writing on this topic on your blog for your own safety. This is not a threat but just a gentle reminder from a friend who is concerned about your safety. Good Luck and best wishes.

    Rgds,
    Geetha

If it is not true, then please sue him (RPK). A simple denial does not carry any weight with the people any more.

Thxs for the courage to write this article and for the info.

The country cannot continue to be run in a lawless way. In a developed society – NO MAN IS ABOVE THE LAW – NOT THE PM, NOT THE DPM, NOT THE CHIEF JUSTICE AND NOT THE KING OR EMPEROR.
