Dear Mr. Sharibuu,
Allow me to use my space in this blog, to apologize to you and your family on behalf of the many sympathetic and responsible Malaysian, on the premature demise of your daughter that took place in our country. I had always tells my friends around the world that Malaysia is a peaceful country and the death of your daughter has taught me one good lesson. I now know for a fact that Malaysia is not safe and don’t believe what the TV and papers tell you.
Please allow me to explain on why I need to apologize to you and your family. To make easier for you to understand my explanation I have divided it into several parts.
The Gruesome Murder
Your daughters death is very unusual in the sense that she was blown up to pieces and there seems to be so many unsolved mysteries surrounding her death and her life. My own research based on what appears in the papers and the internet, confirmed my suspicion that something very unusual is going and it does not take a detective or a genius to figure it out. For the way she had to die and the way some people had gone out of the way to conceal it, I apologize to you and your family.
The Court Drama
From my observation, the ongoing court case appears to dwells on mobile numbers location, blood on slippers, jeep type and number, time passing trough the toll plaza and many other smaller matters which in my opinion should have been dealt later. Usually in any trial, the evidence are presented after the accused has been question. Again, I am not an officers of the court. I suppose it is OK to start a trial from A-Z or vice versa. Whatever it is, it has come to a stage where it bore people to death It is like watching a movie where the characters and the story line are slowly being introduce and before you know it everyone would have gone to sleep. For making the trial a long and protracted court case, I apologize to you and your family.
The unanswered questions
I believe you and many level minded Malaysians are still wondering on many important issues. For e.g, what happen to her immigration entry records. It was reported that the data was erased. Who did it? When they did it? Who ordered it? It doesn’t take a genius to figure it out that data which is in the government hand can only be erased by them. Unless, there is a serious loophole in the immigration records that anyone with a computer can access and erased the data can do it. Then this will raised other questions like why her data only or how come the immigration system record keeping is so lose?
It is the assumption of many people that the orders must have come from somebody important. I am sure you also know that deleting immigration data is not easily done. It must go trough a series of secure system. Despite deleting the data, Cyber Forensic team experts can still follow the log trail to find the answers. I am equally perplexed on why the data was deleted and why this matter was not investigated.
I am still curious among the 3 individuals that is being charged, who actually took the police to the crime scene. This is an important piece of information. Only the person who blew up your daughter’s body would actually know the exact site. Who among the 3 are the one that is responsible. It has been reported that the bone fragments DNA has confirmed that it was your daughter.
Who ordered the murder and the blew up?
I am still wondering; what is the actual motive that makes these 2 officers of the law to blow up your daughter. Why they hate her so much that they killed her in such a manner. Being policeman, they are probably ordered to do the job.
They must be a “good cop” as it seems that they have done their job and follow their orders strictly. If that is the case, then who had ordered them to do it? I am sure that these officers of the law would have not take orders from a civilian. If they are paid mercinaries , I am certain that they would be rich and they would have a lots of money in the bank but from what I gather, this two people cant afford to have a lawyer. Certainly the order, if it was given must have been done by their superior. Question than comes about, who made the order and why the order was made.
Being a former member of a uniformed organization, I can confirm with you, we take orders only from our bosses and we take our orders seriously.
Mr Sharibuu, as a peace loving citizen in this country, I felt ashamed that such incident took place. The murder only brings about more questions about the many unsolved mysteries that happen in our police lock up and many other unsolved executions that took place in the country. The only difference is that , in your daughter’s case it got overwhelming coverage compared to the rest.
Police, AG and the Courts
Mr Sharibuu, I do hope that you keep your faith with our police force and the judiciary. The Royal Malaysian Police has been recognized as one of the better police force in the world. It is a ROYAL organization. It has a long excellent history. I am sure you remember how the former IGP whacked the Ex DPM in the police station. Despite this, please have your faith in the system. Its a ROYAL organization.
Please don’t lump the action of a few and have a negative thoughts or our men in blue (red or yellow) .It is just that one or two of them are trigger happy (or shall I say bomb happy). This should not reflect on the entire image of the force.
As for the AG Chambers, the people who are doing the prosecution in court, I believe they are still competent enough after being roped in at the very last minute to take over the case. Please be assured that these prosecutors are very smart and they can study all facts and evidence fast enough to master the cases in matter of days. We have many geniuses like this in the AG Chambers. They are the creme of the creme.
The fact that the prosecutors were “Bidan Terjun or parachuted into the case” should not worry you. I am confident despite the last minute change, they will do the job.
Mr Sharibuu, again as a Malaysian I apologize, while you were in Malaysia attending the court case, you feel or get the impression that our courts are not being fair to you or to your daughter. If you feel that the AG Chambers are not independent from the politicians. I cant blame you for thinking as such in view of the VK lIngams tape and the Royal Inquiry that took place. There was some saying that the inquiry itself is better then the Royal London Circus.
Take my word for it, the AG’s and its officers are indeed very professional. They work independently and there is no interference from outside parties especially from the people with power. They are the best in the world and I am “proud” of them. I am sure in no time, the case will become clear and your daughter soul will rest in peace. Amen.

I wonder if the 2 police officers arrested in the case is safe. May be they will commit ‘suicide’ one day while in detention to close the case.
We will need several ROYAL commissions to investigate the immigration, defence & even the AG departments.
It’s time that Malaysia come clean.
Shame on you…Gomen of Malaysia!!!
I feel shame to be a Malaysian and I do apologize to the father as well. shame to the system, same to the people in power.
Share your sentiments as a malaysian.
Bharat. I like the Zorros part. They could, hypothetically thinking aloud, even be different people walking into the courts on different days for we can’t see get a glance of their faces. Maybe as consolation for being part of the sandiwara, few people are drawing straws like Russian Roulette on who should take the walk, who will be participating for the day. In the courts they could be wearing masks like those we see on Mission Impossible. Anything is possible. After getting out of view, who knows if they have actually gone home somewhere as no ordinary citizen really have seen their faces or knows how they look like in public. Be gentlemen like Razak Baginda. Show their faces. Why the special treatment?
well.true enough a horrendous murder.Took place during the last 10 days of ramadhan -laitul qadr.
I still wonder why the 2 policemen are brought to court like zoros. Anything fishy there? Will someone be taking their place when the verdict is out? For sure there will be 2 scapegoats to replace them.
Dear God, please bring justice to this bereaved family and keep the guilty party/parties in hell forever for generations to come This includes all the scum accomplices too!
Dr Rafick
Good apology! Well said.

I agree with you that Mr Sharibuu should not have made that threat. It is a form of interference of our domestic matter. We Malaysian should ensure that justice is prevail and not a foreigner or a foreign country. I totally agree with you on that score.
Anyway Mongolia is not exactly America.. and Genghiz Khan is longer around..
Yang ada Rafick Khan and he is a full blooded Malaysian
Why do we succumb with a public apology ? Just because we are sorry to Mr Shaaribu & family and sympathise that Althantuya was murdered in Malaysia. ! Another ex – gratia ?
Mr Shaaribuu threat that diplomatic ties between Malaysia and Mongolia will be severed if the court do not come to a fair decision in Althantuya murder trial cannot be accepted. Has he the right to shape & dictate the decision of the court ? Certainly not!Agreed , justice must prevail !
while the episodes of ” thousand apologises”….keep on pouring…and distracting the public……forget not and the same time those VIPs …….. are already bringing out wagons of cash ($$$) .of rakyat’s money …outside the country to built their palaces..( in australia new zealand, britain, argentina..etc)…….so when BN tumbang they(the VIPs and their family) will comfortably settle down while the rakyat will suffer.
Take one ikan bilis example like the KLIA incident….taking out 3.5M rm outside the country….i hope the Bank Negara is not fast asleep…..zzzzz

The safe issue in this context is discussed in a relative aspect with the intention of provoking some questions among readers. Today, we cant leave our door open. Windows are shut the whole day. Snatch theft has become so common that the police is now considering it as a minor problem – simply because they are too many. We are surrounded by 2mill of unregistered foreigners whose identity are not registered compared to Malysian who has to be finger printed and have to carry and ID card.
Althantuya is not the first case. Many political assassination took place out there. Some we know and some we dont know. The recent and yet to be unsolved is the murder case of Johor MIC chief and several years ago another politician in Kulim. There was also a case of MCA chief which was shot dead in his car at a traffic light (cant remember exact date but I believe it is around 2007).
I read somewhere that during the the police forensic team investigation of the bomb site, they found bones that came from more than one individual . I also read somewhere that C/Insp Adilah made a statement that this is not the first time.
Why an apology? Simple .. .It is the season of the year. So I thought might as well we join the bandwagon. The latest is Hishamuddin who apologize to the non malays for waving the Keris and to the Malays for not able to wave the Keris! (what a joke)
Then we have the Tun salleh Abas (indirect apology) which was given in the form of dinner and some ex gratia. I guess Zaid got the ball rolling. Khir Toyo recently apologize to UMNO for losing the state.
Why Public apology – you said it in the beginning of your writing. It is a sarcasm but deep down I feel we should do it. No parents deserved this kind of treatment. With the government dont want to even reply Mongolian Government letter, I feel it is important that we as individua malaysianl make the first move. This is the least we could and should do
“I now know for a fact that Malaysia is not safe and don’t believe what the TVs and papers tell you.”
Though written in sarcasm , your opinion of Malaysia is absolutely not true. I find myself safe in this country of ours not because I am patriotic but it is actually true.
You cannot say what had happened to Althantuya is of a common happening in Malaysia. It is for a fact the one and only incident and it all points to a conspiracy of the worst kind. Everyone connected with this incident cannot surely be angels .
Sure , we are sorry and have all the sympaties to the late Althantuya family and wish that those responsible for the gruesome murder be brought to justice`Public apology by responsible Malaysians to Mr Sharibuu , why ?
these muderer think they can fool the law & everyone…well, they can’t fool God…. they will pay dearly for what they did… justice will prevail…
its the most bizzare and gruesome murdero f the century!Ther is a lot of conspiracy involved!
